Start DVDShrink. Insert the DVD movie that you wish to copy.
Once DVDShrink has started do the following:
The next step is check the preferences for DVDshink. Goto Edit –> Preferences –> File I/O –> ensure that enable burning with Nero is selected.
Also in preferences under the preferences tab ensure that DVD-5 is seleceted. If you aren't burning a standard 4.7 Gig DVD then you may want to change this option appropriately.
Please note that it is possible to tweak the movie content using DVDshrink, removing unnecessary language and movies content, but this is outside of the scope of this HowTo.
In the main window of DVD shrink ensure that the full disk Button is selected (default) and then select the backup button to start the backup process.
A new window will pop up. Pay particular attention to the “select Folder for Temporary Files” and space required/available below. You may not wish to procede with the Backup if there is not enough disk space.
Select OK to start the Backup
DVDshrink's main window will now close and a new window will appear displaying to content of the copied movie.

This is a long process so be prepared to put on a load of washing or make a cup of coffee.
After the copy has succeeded you will be requested to insert a Blank DVD to start the burning process
If the device that you use to read the DVD is the same as the one you use to burn than you will be required to swap the medias.
Once the burning has completed don't forget to write an appropriate name of the DVD.
